JOSHUA ROSS
Joshua is the Co-Owner and Founder of PHD - TEAM ONTARIO. He is also the Founder and Owner of the BEST OF BEST SERIES. “ My passion is hockey and love giving kids an opportunity to showcase their talent at the highest level of competition. Giving kids and families experiences of a lifetime is why I started PHD – Team Ontario. I enjoy watching kids improve their craft and going through the process in order to be the best them possible“. As a goalie, Josh played for the Markham Majors and Toronto Red Wings in the GTHL during his minor hockey days. He then went on to play JR A in the OPJHL for the Ajax Axmen for 3 seasons!
JEREMY MURPHY
Jeremy is a High Performance Level 2 Coach, the highest certification offered, as well as a National Skills Coach with HOCKEY CANADA. He is the Co-Owner and Director of Hockey for PHD. Jeremy has 20+ years’ experience coaching and running ELITE programs for professional, Collegiate, JR A and AAA athletes in Canada. Jeremy’s ability to identify and correct deficiencies in skill sets, make him a valuable asset for any player serious about improving. Jeremy uses the latest technology on and off the ice to create new training circuits and drills that challenge players in game like situations and build skill in all areas. “Hockey has brought me so much joy in life. Working with high performance players that are committed to training and monitoring their development and improvement is so rewarding for me. I’m looking forward to bringing my experience and training methods to the PHD program and families. I’m committed to helping our PHD athletes reach ELITE status. See you at the rink!
KYLE KLUBERTANZ
Born and raised in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin USA. As a defensemen he played his minor hockey for the Madison Capitals AAA organization. From there, he moved from home to join the Chicago Chill AAA organization for his minor Midget year to pursue further opportunity. He was then tendered by the Green Bay Gamblers of the USHL where he played two seasons, playing in the 2003-04 All-star game. While playing in the USHL he was invited to play for Team USA at the 2003 U18 Championship in Russia. From the USHL he was drafted to the NHL in 2004 by the Anaheim Ducks in the 3rd RD. He also earned a D1 NCAA scholarship with the University Wisconsin Badgers, where he played 4 years, earning all-rookie team honors in 2005 and winning the National Championship in 2006. Kyle then went on to enjoy a 10 year professional hockey career spaning from the AHL, SHL, Liiga, KHL, DEL and ICEHL.
Josh Barker
Josh has coached for the last 6 seasons with the CMHA and CZHA. Josh was previously a lead instructor at the Barn EPC for almost 2 years. He is currently an assistant coach with the U16 AAA Clarington Zone and scouts for the Owen Sound Attack of the OHL. He will be the U18 AAA Head Coach in Clarington next season.
Joe Piccone
Joe is the current Assistant Coach for the Aurora Tigers in the OJHL. Joe has been a Head Skill Instructor for over 16 years and has been coaching for over 12 years. Joe is on the GTHL Skill Development team and is one of the GTHL D1 coach evaluators. Joe won the OHL cup when he was playing with the Toronto Red Wings in the GTHL. Joe also won the Royal Bank Cup National Junior A Championships when he played for the Aurora Tigers (JR A).
Jason Head
Jason was a Lead Skills Instructor for the Barn EPC.
